This was such an interesting read! I am absolutely in love with the way you write and how much research goes into each essay I've read so far. Our society certainly does have a weird obsession with kissing as an expression of love and lust. I do wonder how or why early humans invented/discovered kissing...and then why they kept doing it.
A lot of the ways we express love (and lust) as humans is actually quite disgusting when you give it some thought. Maybe love itself (as a feeling, concept, and action) is just disgusting.
